Board Members

Åse Aulie Michelet
Åse Aulie Michelet was appointed Chairman of the Board of SpinChip Diagnostics AS in December 2015. Michelet has a long experience from the pharmaceutical industry; Nycomed, Amersham and GE Healthcare. She has heldleading positions in these companies within R&D, marketing and manufacturing. Michelet has also been CEO in Marine Harvest ASA and Teres Medical Group AS. She has held many board positions in Norwegian industrial companies and currently chairs the board of Inven2 AS. She is a board member in Sykehusapotekene HF, Royal Greenland AS and Terveystalo BPP. Michelet has her education from ETH in Zurich and is Cand. pharm. from the University of Oslo.
 

Ove Öhman
Öhman was nominated to the board of SpinChip in the fall 2015. Öhman has founded or co-founded several companies such as Åmic AB, Fiomi Diagnostics AB, Sigolis AB and Ginolis Oy. He acts today in several boards but also work with technical development in small startups. He has master degree in Applied Physics and received the Polhem Prize 2003. He was called as honorary doctor at Uppsala University 2005. Öhman is a board member of Endovascular Development AB, Ginolis Oy, Meje AB and International Chip Cooler AB.
 

Jan Fikkan
Jan is currently CEO of Fikkan Pharma AS, performing consulting services as well as investments in Nordic early stage Healthcare and LifeScience companies. Jan has more than 20 years of experience in various executive roles in the international pharmaceutical industry. He was running the Japan region for GE Healthcare for 10 years – a role including building infrastructure on the ground while optimize the business through Strategic Alliance and JV structures. He had full P&L responsibility for a $130m business. Jan has also been running the global pharma R&D operations in GE Healthcare including a $50m development portfolio and project/portfolio teams in UK, USA and Norway. Fikkan holds a Master of Science in Physiology from University of Oslo. He is currently chariman of the board in Mentis Cura AS, Phoenix Solutions AS and Fikkan Pharma AS. He is also a board member of Oxy Solutions AS.

 

Hans Peter Bøhn
HP Bøhn manages a charitable trust for the benefit of medical research. He has 12 years’ experience from investment banking, related to the life science industries. Prior to this, he worked in various positions in Nycomed ASA, a pharmaceutical company specialised in contrast media for diagnostic imaging.  He is a qualified medical doctor, with a postgraduate diploma in pharmaceutical medicine (UK).  Mr Bøhn is Chairman of PCI Biotech.
 

Ann-Tove Kongsnes
Ms. Kongsnes is Investment Director at Investinor AS. She has 16 years' experience in active ownership in the seed, early and expansion stage investments, mainly working with technology companies. Kongsnes was previously Investment Manager at ProVenture Managment AS, Business Development Manager at Leiv Eiriksson Nyskaping AS, Director of Marketing & Operations at NSEC Inc., Boston and Marketing Manager at The Norwegian Seafood Export Council. She holds a MSc in Economics and Business Administration and the Advanced Program in Corporate Finance. Mrs Kongsnes is a board member of Investinor’s portfolio companies Ayanda AS, poLight AS, Numascale AS, Pharmalink AB, Soundrop AS and Spinchip AS. She is also deputy board member at Novelda AS and head of International Affairs at Investinor

 

Jostein Bjøndal
Bjøndal is Investment Director at the Corporate VC of SINTEF – SINTEF TTO. Prior to joining SINTEF TTO in 2002, Bjøndal was Deputy Bank Director at Fokus Bank ASA. Bjøndal also has been Vice President Corporate Finance at Danske Securities, Deputy CEO of the consultancy company Leiv Eirikson Nyskaping AS, and researcher at SINTEF. He has a master’s degree in business administration and economics from Norwegian School of Economics. Bjøndal is currently board member of Active Reamer Technology AS, Veritrack AS, C-Feed AS, Chemfree AS, Zivid Labs AS and AOD Labs AS. 

 

Aage Thunem
Thunem is Executive Vice President in SINTEF and heading the Business Area SINTEF ICT. He has previously been heading SINTEF DELAB, Data and Electrics Laboratory, as well as SINTEF Telecom and Informatics. Thunem has also been instrumental in establishing several new businesses based on technology developed by SINTEF ICT.  He is and has been serving on several of the Board of Directors for these Companies. Thunem was a research scientist at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and has been a lecturer at NTNU for 6 year. He has a degree in Engineering Cybernetics from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Thunem is currently a board member of KANTEGA AS, Veritrack AS and SIMLINK AS.
